Pitt QB Kenny Pickett Has Highly-Anticipated Pre-Draft Visit
PITTSBURGH — Former Pitt Panthers quarterback Kenny Pickett will have his top-30 NFL Draft visit with the team many have linked him to.
After meeting at the NFL Combine and attending his Pro Day, the Carolina Panthers will now host Pickett for a one-on-one visit.
Panthers head coach Matt Rhule was one of two head coaches at Pitt’s Pro Day. The other was Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin.
Rhule and Pickett go way back. The former Temple head man recruited the New Jersey star and now, after a Heisman finalist finish in college, he has an opportunity to grab him in the draft.
Carolina currently sits sixth in the NFL Draft. If they do add a quarterback, they’ll likely compete with Sam Darnold for the starting job.
