PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers will be one recruit short this weekend as they host a slew of official visitors on campus during a crucial part of the recruiting calendar.

Zafir Stewart, a 2024 offensive lineman from Imhotep Charter High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, had planned on making it out to visit Pitt this weekend, but he has since canceled that visit, according to a report from Karl Ludwig of Pittsburgh Sports Now

Stewart's decision to cancel his visit comes on the heels of three-star offensive lineman Mason Lindsay announcing that he had accepted an offer to play at Pitt and had committed to Pat Narduzzi's program. The Panthers now have three offensive linemen committed to the class of 2024.

Rated as a three-star prospect but On3, 247Sports and Rivals, the 6'4 and 325-pound lineman, Stewart has plenty of Power 5 schools vying for his services. He holds offers from Penn State, Rutgers, Maryland, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Illinois, West Virginia, Boston College and others.
