PITTSBURGH -- Shannon Sharpe's decision to leave FS1's "Undisputed" leaves a massive hole in one of the channel's flagship shows. To fill that vacant host role, FS1 is expected to consider former Pitt Panthers running back LeSean McCoy.

McCoy, who's No. 8 in career rushing yards at Pitt and in total points scored, will receive an "extended audition" with potential co-host Skip Bayless once Sharpe officially takes his buyout from Fox Sports, according to a report from Front Office Sports' Michael McCarthy and A.J. Perez.

McCoy is not a complete stranger to television but took his first job in media just last September. He was a co-host of the talk show "Speak", sharing the camera with Emmanuel Acho and Joy Taylor, who are also candidates for the Undisputed job.

Fox Sports is also expected to try and lure ESPN's Max Kellerman, Keyshawn Johnson and Michael Irvin away from their current employers to fill Sharpe's soon-vacant position.
