PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers missed on New Jersey offensive lineman Zachary Aamland, who committed to Illinois.

The 6'6", 285-pound lineman narrowed his top three to Illinois, Pitt, and West Virginia before choosing the Fighting Illini. He had 16 offers and was set to visit Pitt on June 16. 

Aamland is a three-star lineman, ranked 21st in the state of New Jersey and 93rd at his position.
