PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers added another 2025 prospect to their recruiting board over the weekend.

Rising junior Nikola Bundalo picked up an offer from Jeff Capel and the Panthers, according to a report from George Michalowksi of The Portal Report and Pittsburgh Sports Now.

Over the past month and a half, Xavier, Seton Hall, Ohio State, Rutgers, Iowa, Illinois, Georgetown, Nebraska, Penn State, Creighton, Texas Tech and Notre Dame have also extended offers to Bundalo. 

Bundalo lives not far from Pittsburgh in Uniontown, Ohio, and attends Green High School. He plays his AAU ball for Wildcat Select on the Adidas 3SSB circuit. He's been in Rock Hill, South Carolina this week, competing in the Adidas 3SSB Championships. 

Rated as a four-star prospect by On3, 247Sports and Rivals, Bundalo is ranked as high as the No. 2 player in Ohio (On3, 247Sports), the No. 6 power forward and No. 22 overall player in the class of 2025 (247Sports).

Stephen Thompson graduated with a bachelor's degree in communications and political science from Pitt in April 2022 after spending four years as a sports writer and editor at The Pitt News, the University of Pittsburgh's independent, student-run newspaper.  He primarily worked the Pitt men's basketball beat, and filled in on coverage of football, volleyball, softball, gymnastics and lacrosse, in addition to other sports as needed.
