PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers were the first to extend an offer to a freshman defensive back from Aliquippa and he's now moving even closer to campus in Oakland.

Larry Moon, a standout 2027 defensive back and wide receiver, has announced through his Twitter bio that he will move from Aliquippa High School to Central Catholic High School for the coming school year.

Moon has visited Penn State earlier this year and picked up his offer from Pitt in June after he attended camp at the South Side practice facility. West Virginia came calling with an offer of their own the day after.

The 5'11 and 170-pound corner is leaving behind a Pitt commit, four-star Aliquippa linebacker Cam Lindsey, but will team up with another Pitt defense commit in four-star defensive end Ty Yuhas, who plays for the Vikings.
