PITTSBURGH -- Former Pitt Panthers guard Ithiel Horton has found a new home, the fourth and final stop of his long college career.

Horton, who played for Pitt from 2020 to 2022 and entered the transfer portal after withdrawing from the NBA Early Entry Draft Process, is headed to Texas to play for Rodney Terry, who will take over the full-time head coaching job for the Longhorns this season.

Horton averaged 9.2 points on 37% shooting from 3-point range, 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game while with Pitt. He transfered to UCF following his suspension-shortened 2021-22 season in which he played just 13 games. Horton averaged 12.3 points and 3.7 rebounds while making 35% of his 3-pointers and 83% of his free throws in 2022-23 with the Knights.

Prior to Pitt, Horton enjoyed a decorated career at Delaware that included All-Colonial Athletic Association Tournament honors and All-Freshman Team honors in 2019.
