PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers have once again fallen on the wrong side of a four-star 2024 prospect's commitment decision, something that has become a regular occurrence over the past two weeks.

Mylachi Williams, a four-star defensive end from Monsignor Bonner High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, put Pitt in his top five alongside Penn State, Syracuse, Notre Dame and Texas A&M last week and over the weekend, announced that he had chosen to be a Nittany Lion.

Williams is rated as a four-star prospect by Rivals and On3 and a three-star prospect by 247Sports. He is ranked as high as the No. 3 player in Pennsylvania, the No. 16 defensive end and the No. 205 overall prospect in the class of 2024 (On3).

The 6'3 and 210-pound edge rusher also visited Penn State and Syracuse this month. He holds offers from the Nittany Lions, Panthers and Orange, alongside Notre Dame, Rutgers, West Virginia, Georgia, Michigan, USC, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Colorado, Virginia Tech, Duke, Cincinnati, Illinois, Vanderbilt, Maryland, Boston College, Missouri and others.
