PITTSBURGH -- Not long after he announced a set of six finalists, three-star Pitt Panthers target Javier Etheridge has set a commitment date. he will reveal where he will play his college ball on May 13, five days from now. 

Etheridge will choose from his half a dozen finalists - Pitt, Penn State, Indiana, West Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. He'll do it at his high school and stream the event on his personal Instagram. 

Ehteridge, a 5'10, 165-pound prospect is rated as a three-star recruit by On3 and 247Sports. On3 has him as the No. 64 athlete in this class and No. 58 player in Ohio. 247Sports has him as the No. 149 athlete and 60 player in his state. 

Etheridge held 12 offers in all, with Ohio State, Michigan, Louisville, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Cincinnati and Georgia Tech showing varying levels of interest but not offering. Western Michigan, Duke, Marshall and Toledo were among the top 10 to not make the next round of cuts.
