PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers are currently hosting one of their top targets from the transfer portal but while he is touring the facilities and campus in Oakland, one recruiting service made their prediction for where he'll land and it is not in Pittsburgh.

On3 has predicted that Thomasson will choose the Georgia Bulldogs over Pitt, Penn State, San Francisco and St. John's. Thomasson has taken visits to each of those schools.

Thomasson announced last week that he had set a commitment date and would pick his next school on May 10, less than a week from now.

It's clear to see why Thomasson, a 6'3 lefty from Richmond, Texas, is an attractive candidate for Pitt, who lost three deadly three-point shooters and its second-leading scorer to graduation this offseason. He averaged 19.5 points, 3.5 assists and 3.8 rebounds per game while making 38.6% of his 3-point shots and 52.1% of his 2-point shots. He started all 31 games he appeared in for Niagra last season, averaging 36.4 minutes per game on the way to First Team All-MAAC honors.
