PITTSBURGH -- With the school year nearing a close and with that, ESPN has released a new round of player rankings. They listed the top 300 players in the class of 2025 (rising juniors) and three Pitt Panthers targets made the cut.

The first was Tarvos Alford II, a 6'2 and 215-pound outside linebacker from Fort Pierce, Florida and John Caroll High School. With a scout grade of 83, four-star recruit Alford is the No. 71 player in the class of 2025, No. 10 at his position and No. 11 in the state of Florida. He has drawn interest from all over the country, including Auburn, Kentucky, Florida, Ohio State, Kentucky, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee and others in addition to the Panthers.

Joining Alford in the elite of the class of 2025 is four-star wide receiver Nae'Shaun Montgomery of West Palm Beach, Florida and Cardinal Newman High School. The 6'1, 175-pound receiver has a player grade of 82, he holds offers from Pitt, Flordia, Indiana, LSU, Maryland, Miami, Penn State, Texas A&M, USC and plenty of others. ESPN rankes him as the No. 103 player in the class of 2025, No. 12 at his position and No. 17 in the state.

Rounding out the group of Pitt targets who cracked the exclusive list is Andre Thomas Jr., a three-star outside linebacker from Beveille, Michigan. The 6'0, 205-pound backer just made the top 300, checking in at that final spot with a 78 grade. He holds just three offers currently from Maryland, Pitt and Toledo, but has visited Penn State, Michigan and Louisville as well. ESPN has him as the No. 31 player at his position and No. 6 in Michigan.
