REPORT: Collin Murray-Boyles Will Be Back For South Carolina Next Season
A great Thursday for South Carolina's men's basketball team got even better this evening as their top underclassmen will be returning for next year.
To say it's been a tremendous day for South Carolina's men's basketball program would be an understatement. It began with the news of the school and Lamont Paris agreeing on a new deal that would keep him in Columbia through the 2029-30 season. Then in the late afternoon, the Gamecocks put together a convincing win over the Arkansas Razorbacks to earn the right to play the Auburn Tigers in the quarterfinals tomorrow afternoon.
The theme of this evening's news is similar to the one from the morning, but this time involves a player instead of a coach, as The State's Jordan Kaye reported that Collin Murray-Boyles will be returning to South Carolina for next season. The SEC All-Freshman selection has been on a roll since playing the Georgia Bulldogs on February 3rd, averaging 16.7 points on 70.7 percent shooting and 8.1 rebounds in his last 11 games.
