GG Jackson has taken full advantage of the opportunities he's been given this season with the Memphis Grizzlies, and it's no longer just the stat sheet that indicates this; it's also people who pay close attention to the Grizzlies. In the Memphis Grizzlies pre-game show on Bally Sports, Jackson was one of the topics of conversation amongst the pundits, specifically how he has improved and learned from his mistakes with every game.

They also talked about what his ceiling could be for the Grizzles, and while no one had a definite answer because he is still only 19 years old, one of the commentators, former NBA point guard Brevin Knight, had this to say about that potential ceiling:

"At this point, the ceiling is glass; you see right through it; there's no stopping what his abilities are and what they continue to be, but it will be nice to see what it looks like when you put this all into a winning situation with the guys next to him that are premier NBA players."

In his rookie season, GG has had five 20-point games coming off the bench and is currently averaging over 11 points per game. The panelists highlighted how Jackson is gaining valuable experience by finishing games and how, as he continues to grow, he is gaining a better understanding of what shot he should take and at what time. That has been displayed to a significant degree in the past ten games, where Jackson has averaged 16.5 points per game on 45.2 percent shooting from the floor and 40.7 percent shooting from three-point range in 26.1 minutes.
