BREAKING: GG Jackson Declares For The NBA Draft
GG Jackson came into South Carolina's Basketball program as the highest rated recruit the team had ever landed, and for good reason. The 18-year old had dominated local high school talent in the Columbia area and bursted onto the scene at multiple national camps, which lead to him forgoing his final year of high school basketball and enrolling early at South Carolina.
The Columbia native came right on into the SEC and immediately proved on the court that his move wasn't an irrational one, as he averaged 15. points per game on 38 percent shooting while also securing 5.9 rebounds per game on average. With the season Jackson had, many people suspected that he would likely be moving onto the NBA, and GG confirmed this train of thought on Friday, when it was announced through the South Carolina Basketball program's social media page that Jackson had declared for the NBA Draft.
