How To Watch: South Carolina vs Ole Miss

South Carolina's Women's Basketball team is set for another matchup against one of their tougher opponents from the regular season in the Ole Miss Rebels.

Dawn Staley and South Carolina's Women's Basketball team easily coasted by the Arkansas Razorbacks in the SEC quarterfinals on Friday afternoon, winning through an offensive onslaught lead by their front court, along with an established presence on the glass. Their semifinal matchup against the Ole Miss Rebels, however, promises to challenge the Gamecocks to a much greater extent if their overtime thriller against the Rebels back on February 19th is any indication.

In their last matchup, Zia Cooke was forced to take charge of an offense that from a collective standpoint went away from their strengths and was too afraid to challenge Ole Miss' undersized front court. This combined with some tough makes by the Rebels' best scoring threat in Angel Baker, made the game a much closer bout than Aliyah Boston and the Gamecocks would've liked. 

The Gamecocks this time around, however, will have the advantage of knowing how the Rebels might plan to attack them on both sides of the court, and learning from their mistakes in their last outing, could devise a better game plan for how to counter any quasi-zone defense Ole Miss runs. If they were to pull off the victory, South Carolina would be on the national stage for Championship Sunday.
