Dawn Staley is three wins away from joining the 600 club, but that's the least of her concerns as of now. On Thursday night, South Carolina will look to secure their 24th win of the season and 11th in conference play against the Tennessee Lady Volunteers. In the past two games, Carolina has played without center Kamilla Cardoso, and while she was gone, Ashlyn Watkins and Chloe Kitts stepped up in significant ways for Coach Staley.

Now, with the return of Cardoso after being away with the Brazilian national team, the Gamecock frontcourt will be even deeper. The importance of having more than one go-to post-player is enormous and can't be understated. Heading into the matchup against the Vols, the scoring typically comes from their forward Rickea Jackson, who is averaging 18.6 points and eight rebounds per game.

Kitts and Watkins have combined for 50 points, 28 rebounds, and 12 blocks over the past two games, and adding Cardoso back to the mix is a bonus for this Carolina squad, who is looking to maintain their undefeated record.
