BREAKING: College Gameday Crew Makes Their Picks For South Carolina - North Carolina
The long wait for college football is gone! Who did the cast of college gameday pick in the Tar Heel and Gamecock matchup? Gamecock Nation did not disappoint this morning, showing up and showing out in Charlotte, North Carolina. As Pat McAfee also noticed saying the Gamecock fans have been out since 5 a.m. this morning.
The cast of College Gameday was accompanied by guest picker, award-winning country music artist Gamecock fan and alum Darius Rucker. After going through their rounds of picks from other national games, they’ve finally made their predictions for the game of the week!
Desmond Howard has gone with North Carolina, and thinks their defense will be the difference. Pat McAfee agreed with Desmond and went with North Carolina. Kirk Herbstreit chose the Gamecocks, believing the fan atmosphere will make the difference.
Darius Rucker, without any hesitation, went with Shane Beamer and the Gamecocks, saying he thinks Beamer will win Coach of the Year. College Gameday legend Lee Corso, who is known for his headgear picks, has chosen North Carolina because of Mack Brown.
It was a great atmosphere for South Carolina's first feature on College Gameday since 2014, and now, Shane Beamer, Spencer Rattler, and South Carolina's Football team will look to prove the majority of the crew wrong and defeat the Tar Heels for the second time in three years.
