In terms of NFL wideouts calling out the media for unfair criticism of their quarterback, no one is ever going to top the memorable moment back in 2008 when the then-Dallas Cowboy wideout and eventual Pro Football Hall of Famer Terrell Owens cried while defending his quarterback Tony Romo after a tough loss in the NFL Playoffs. Former South Carolina and current San Fransisco 49er star Deebo Samuel is quickly becoming known as a player who, much like Owens, isn't afraid to let you know what's on his mind, whether you're a competitor or someone in the media space.

In this rare instance, Samuel called out someone who knows what it's like to wear the pads at the highest level and work in the media space: ESPN NFL Analyst Ryan Clark. Over the past few days, Clark hasn't been shy about criticizing 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy, who has come back down to earth in his last few appearances after playing like an MVP through most of the regular season. This has led to the former Steeler making some strong remarks over the past few days about where Purdy stands amongst his peers at the position in the National Football League.

On Monday, Deebo finally reached a breaking point, posting a story on Instagram calling out Clark, saying, "Never seen so much hate for a QB that lead the league in almost every category. Y'all folks be buggin'. The [tape] don't tell no lies."

Samuel is currently battling a shoulder injury that he suffered against the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Divisional Round this past Saturday, with there being a '50-50' chance he plays against the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship Game this coming Sunday.
