The South Carolina Gamecocks have dealt with their fair share of injuries since the beginning of Fall camp. Considering the September slate Shane Beamer and his staff have been staring down for eight months, this is one of those seasons where those injuries can come back to bite you, especially when it includes some of your best players.

That's been Carolina's world since mid-August with wide receiver Juice Wells, although Shane Beamer said on his Carolina Calls radio show on Thursday evening that Wells "is fine" and that there's "zero" concern regarding him being full-go for this game. Another piece of encouraging news was that Nick Emmanwori and David Spaulding practiced every day this week, and although they're not 100 percent, they'll be playing against Georgia.

This would be significant due to Nick's leadership role and overall impact and the experience that both players bring to a secondary with a lot of youth in its two-deep. Kennan Nelson Jr., Ahmarean Brown, and JonDarius Morgan are still questionable, and Markee Anderson, Jatius Geer, and Bradley Dunn are both OUT. Beamer was initially optimistic that Anderson and Geer could return earlier this week, but it appears that they will remain on the shelf until next week. South Carolina will bring 76 players to Athens, per Beamer, as they look to potentially shock the college football world this weekend.
