How to Watch: Garnet and Black Spring Game

South Carolina football is suiting up for a game day for the first time since December.

South Carolina's football team is gearing up for a game day for the first time in over four months. The Gamecocks, who have not played a snap of football since late December, will compete in an intra-squad scrimmage in the Garnet and Black Spring game.

One of the main things to watch in the game is how the quarterbacks for both teams perform. As expected, Spencer Rattler will start for the Black team, but the Garnet team, interestingly enough, drafted true freshman LaNorris Sellers with their first pick of the Spring game draft earlier this week.

Some other freshmen to watch on Saturday night are offensive guard Markee Anderson and linebacker Grayson "Pup" Howard, both of whom have been wildly impressive throughout the spring practice slate and are expected to compete for significant playing time this upcoming season.

The game is all in good fun, but it's an excellent opportunity to see how the team has developed since the end of the last season and how the newcomers will fair. If you miss the game tonight, the SEC Network will air a replay of the game at 1 p.m. ET on Thursday.
