How To Watch: South Carolina @ No. 1 Georgia

South Carolina's Football team is set for another nationally-televised matchup, time taking on a fellow SEC foe in the Georgia Bulldogs

On Saturday afternoon, the Shane Beamer-led South Carolina Gamecocks will be taking on the team currently viewed as the best in college football, the No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs. It'll be the third-ever meeting between Beamer and one of his former bosses, Kirby Smart.

There are many intriguing storylines to pay attention to for both teams coming into this matchup. At the quarterback position, South Carolina feels that Spencer Rattler has finally taken that step mentally speaking and, under the guidance of offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains, is playing up to the potential everyone's known he's possessed since his high school days. The Georgia Bulldogs have a new quarterback under center this year in Carson Beck, who'll be making his third career start on Saturday and his first-ever start against a Power 5 opponent.

Injury-wise, both teams have ongoing situations to follow coming into this contest, as South Carolina will have both Juice Wells and Nick Emmanwori playing. However, both are still likely dealing with lingering effects from their lower-body injuries. On the other hand, the Bulldogs could be without one of their top offensive playmakers, Ladd McConkey, and one of their top defensive backs, Javon Bullard. Either way, it will be an intriguing SEC opener for the Gamecocks and the Bulldogs.
