247Sports Labels Gamecocks' 2024 Schedule One of The Toughest In CFB

Per 247Sports Brad Crawford, South Carolina's football program will once again have one of the toughest schedules in the sport this Fall.

As college football enthusiasts eagerly await the 2024 season, 247Sports' Brad Crawford ranked the top 15 most challenging schedules in the country. Once again, the Gamecocks find themselves in that mix, being pitted against a grueling lineup of SEC opponents and their archrivals, the Clemson Tigers.

For the upcoming season, 247Sports ranked South Carolina's schedule as the fourth toughest in the nation. At home, the Gamecocks are set to host various opponents, including Old Dominion, LSU, Akron, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Missouri, and Wofford. On the road, the Gamecocks face in-state rival Clemson and formidable adversaries such as Alabama, Oklahoma, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt.
