Leak Reveals Date For South Carolina's 2024 Matchup With Ole Miss
It's never too early to look ahead to the next football season, and in the case of the SEC, everything is about to change drastically. Texas and Oklahoma will officially be members of the conference this next Fall, and every team's schedule will be altered to a moderate degree, all while the College Football Playoff is set to expand to twelve slots.
Shane Beamer and the South Carolina Gamecocks have already learned who they'll be playing in 2024, both within and outside of the SEC, but what they don't know is when their conference games will take place. While Gamecock fans will have to wait until December 13th to find out the dates for Carolina's SEC games, one game date has been leaked by Inside the Rebels, the 247Sports affiliate site for Ole Miss, which revealed that South Carolina will play the Rebels on October 5th.
It'll be the first meeting between both teams since 2020, when the Gamecocks traveled to Oxford and lost 59-42.
