If you asked a group of South Carolina Football fans where they'd like to see former Gamecock quarterback Spencer Rattler go in the 2024 NFL Draft, some would probably say they would like to see Rattler go in the first round because they either believe he's worth taking on day one or want to see him get the best contract possible. While Rattler likely won't get drafted within the same range that Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, and other quarterbacks the mainstream media constantly talk about, that might not be a bad thing because it could mean that the Arizona native goes in a spot where the expectations won't be as high and could be in a better situation than some of these other prospects.

In the latest mock draft from WalterFootball, that aforementioned scenario is exactly the type they have playing out for Rattler, as they project he'll land with the Los Angeles Rams in the 3rd Round with the 83rd overall pick. It would be an intriguing situation should Spencer be drafted by the Rams, as the team has an aging quarterback in Matthew Stafford, who's on the last leg of his professional career, and an offensive guru in head coach Sean McVay, who could fall in love with Rattler's experience with play-action concepts.
