2024 RB Schedules Unofficial Visit to South Carolina
In the absence of a football season, Head Coach Shane Beamer and the rest of the coaching staff have been very busy meeting with recruits and giving visits. South Carolina has set up visits with high-profile prospects such as Dylan Stewart, Josiah Thompson, and many more. Even with a busy visit schedule, South Carolina continues to rake in recruits and recently added another one.
2024 Running Back Peyton Lewis has scheduled an unofficial visit with the Gamecocks for March 17th. In his junior season, the Salem, Virginia native rushed for over 1500 yards and 17th touchdowns. In addition to being a star on the football field, Lewis is also a national track star. Lewis won the South Carolina state title in the 55-meter sprint with a 6.34 second time.
Lewis, though just a three-star on 0n3 and unrated on 247sports, has already garnered impressive offers. Lewis' offer list includes Alabama, Tennessee, Auburn, Penn State, and many more schools.
South Carolina won't be the only school Lewis is visiting this spring. The running back has plans to visit Virginia Tech, Virginia, Ohio State, Nebraska, and North Carolina. He also visited Tennessee, Virginia Tech, and Penn State earlier this year.
