Josiah Thompson Sets Return Visit Date
South Carolina has stacked their schedule with visit dates from recruits and added another one, as Josiah Thompson has set a date for his second visit with South Carolina. The 2024 OT is down to just six schools and plans to set dates for return visits with the other schools on his list.
While he is still trying to set dates with the other schools on his list, Thompson has finalized a date to revisit Columbia. Thompson will attend the Gamecocks' first spring practice on March 14th for an unofficial visit.
Thompson, the number two ranked player in South Carolina, has been a target for South Carolina for months. With fellow 2024 OT Kam Pringle already committed to South Carolina, Pringle and Thompson could combine for the best tackle duo in the nation, assuming Thompson chooses South Carolina as his future home.
Fortunately for Gamecocks fans, reports surfaced at the beginning of January naming South Carolina as the leader in Thompson's recruiting. Only time will tell where he chooses to spend the next four years of his life, but Thompson making South Carolina the first school he sets a return visit to is very promising.
