2024 Safety Kelvin Hunter Sets Official Visit Date
South Carolina's calendar has been filling up with official and unofficial dates, and the Gamecocks have just added another official visit date in late June. South Carolina will host 2024 Safety target Kelvin Hunter for an official visit.
Hunter, a native of Florence, SC, has been linked with South Carolina for some time. The Gamecocks were one of the first teams to offer Hunter, dating back to June 2021. That dedication has paid off, as the school has been rumored to be in the lead for Hunter.
The four-star safety is regarded as one of the best players in South Carolina. Hunter ranks as the fourth-best player from the Palmetto State and the 23rd-best safety in the class of 2024.
Hunter's official visit will be his second trip to Columbia this year, as he was on campus back in January for the school's junior day. Hunter's official visit to South Carolina will come on the weekend of June 23rd-25th, the same weekend Jonathon Paylor, a high-priority WR recruit in the class of 2024, will be taking his official visit. Hunter's trip to Columbia in June is his only visit date planned so far, though he plans to travel to Clemson and Virginia Tech on unofficial visits.
