BREAKING: Matthew Fuller Commits To South Carolina
The recruitment of 2024 running back Matthew Fuller played out in a fashion similar to recent linebacker commit Fred Johnson. Back on May 12th, Fuller received an offer from the Gamecocks. Less than a month later, Matthew was on campus for an unofficial visit. Now, after a commitment timeline was made public on Thursday night, the South Carolina Gamecocks have a received a pledge from Matthew Fuller.
Shane Beamer and his staff beat out the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets for Fuller and now have their first running back commit of the 2024 cycle. With South Carolina looking to have two running backs in the fold for this recruiting class, they can now turn even more attention to targets like Daniel Hill, and Braylen Russell, with Hill being in town for a pivotal official visit this weekend. Fuller is the twelfth overall commitment for the Gamecocks in this cycle and their third public commitment in the month of June.
