Talent is the cornerstone of success in the cutthroat world of college football, and every coach hopes to sign the next great star. Shane Beamer and his staff have been drawn to one such prospect in the 2025 class: four-star defensive lineman Amare Adams, who is scheduled to visit South Carolina later this week for their eagerly anticipated cookout event. With his exceptional skills and remarkable potential, he’s been a top priority for the Gamecocks since receiving an offer in June of 2022, so this is another massive opportunity for the Gamecocks to get him back on campus.

Earlier this month, Amare dropped his top 7 of South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, Tennessee, LSU, and Florida State, with South Carolina remaining in the driver's seat. Visits like these could be critical for the Gamecocks to help close the recruitment gap between themselves and other SEC schools.

South Carolina will surround Amare Adams with elite talent at his position this weekend, featuring 2024 five-star Dylan Stewart from Washington, D.C., and 2025 four-star Bryce Davis from NC. As the Gamecocks try to close on Dylan for the 2024 class, this weekend will be just as significant for the 2025 class with Bryce and Amare being on campus.

Both are ranked as four-stars and will provide the staff with the opportunity to build a relationship between the two and sell them on the possibility of teaming up at Carolina under coaches Sterling Lucas and Clayton White.
