South Carolina's Lonnie Teasley and Greg Adkins, both of whom work with the Gamecocks' offensive line, have made plenty of headway on the recruiting trail over the past year. These efforts are beginning to bear serious fruit in the 2025 recruiting cycle, as David Sanders Jr. announced on Wednesday afternoon via social media that he'll be making an unofficial visit to Columbia on Thursday.

The 6'6" tackle from Charlotte, NC, is currently ranked as the No. 1 tackle in the class of 2025, and the top recruit in the nation according to On3's composite industry ranking. South Carolina has had David Sanders on campus more times than anyone else recruiting him at the moment, and looks like a real contender for the elite talent, as South Carolina, Georgia and NC State are three schools trending early with David Sanders.

South Carolina is trending in the right direction early with a lot of the top talent in the 2025 class, including the No. 2 player in the class, Elijah Griffin from Savannah, GA, and is currently the leader in the clubhouse for five-star defensive lineman Amare Adams from Lake City, SC. It's still very early, but this South Carolina staff is putting in a lot of work already to try and make this 2025 class one of the best in school history.
