South Carolina Lands Maryland Offensive Lineman
South Carolina continues to clean up well in the DMV region with their latest commitment from 6-foot-7 tackle Mike Williams from Charles Herbert Flowers High School in Baltimore, MD., the same high school as South Carolina freshmen EDGE Desmond Umeozulu and TE Maurice Brown II.
For South Carolina, this is a great way to start the 2024 class off in the DMV area with this commitment from Mike Williams, who picked the Gamecocks over Tennessee and Michigan State and had offers from schools like Southern Cal', Florida, Miami, and Maryland.
With this addition to the line, South Carolina certainly has one of the best offensive lines in the nation. That group includes Kam Pringle, Josiah Thompson, and Blake Franks, all highly recruited by some of the best teams in college football.
South Carolina will also continue to go after Mike's former high school teammate, four-star DB Braydon Lee, who currently has a South Carolina crystal ball prediction from National Recruiting Analyst Brian Dohn of 247 Sports, and will obviously still be in the running with a five-star edge Dylan Stewart, who attends Friendship Collegiate Academy high school in Washington, DC. The DMV-USC pipeline continues to bear fruit for Shane Beamer and the South Carolina Gamecocks.
