The NCAA is again breathing down the neck of the Michigan football program and Jim Harbaugh.

After serving a self-imposed three-game suspension to start the year due to recruiting violations, Michigan has found itself in more hot water. They are currently in the process of being investigated by the NCAA due to the fact that they have allegedly had a person affiliated with the program scouting opponents in person. Something that Harbaugh claimed to not be aware of, and also something that ESPN's Paul Finebaum believes will drive Harbaugh to the NFL as he revealed on Get Up.

“Considering that Jim Harbaugh has really proven all the critics and skeptics wrong by the run to the playoffs the last couple of years, and possibly again this year? I think he’s going to leave college football and go back to the NFL,” Finebaum said. “I think he has had enough of what this sport is really all about, the way it’s operated, and the thin line that the NCAA uses to go after people. Clearly, he is in their crosshairs.”

Harbaugh had a stint in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers after his great success at Stanford, and there has always been speculation that he would one day find his way back there. He has been linked to a handful of NFL jobs in the past few years.
