Stanford OL Barrett Miller to transfer to Cal
The blows from the David Shaw era of Stanford football continue to roll in, as on top of the program having what was their third losing season in four years Troy Taylor ended up seeing a lot of seasoned players opt to leave the program.
One of the players that decided transferring was the better move from him was offensive lineman Barrett Miller. The four-year starter who started in 30 games across his four years at Stanford, revealed on Sunday that he will be transferring across the Bay to Cal.
Miller gave up just five sacks in his career at Stanford, which when you consider how shaky this unit had been over the past couple seasons, that's fairly decent. Cal has rebuilt what was a depleted offensive line through the transfer portal and juco ranks, as he now marks the third offensive lineman Cal has added.
For Stanford, they return just two players from last year's Week 1 two-deep.
