With early signing day in less than a week, many programs are working a balancing act of wrapping up their 2024 class, recruiting transfer portal players, and are also looking ahead to 2025.

Stanford is no exception, as they are pursuing New Mexico offensive line transfer Shancco Matautia, and based on social media posts, they are hosting two massive  2025 recruits for visits this weekend. Let's dive into the Cardinal targets!

Starting with four-star linebacker Mark Iheanachor who announced his visit to Palo Alto earlier on Thursday, Iheanachor is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 30 linebacker in the country, and the No. 27 player in the state. He holds 12 offers from programs like Cal, Arizona, and Washington among others. For Narbonne High School (CA), he plays both ways, seeing time at running back and outside linebacker.

This past season, he rushed for 852 yards on 7.4 yards per carry, while racking up 12 rushing touchdowns and another three receiving. On defense, Iheanachor accumulated 93 total tackles, 12 tackles for a loss, and also added three interceptions.

Joining him is fellow Los Angeles product and four-star EDGE, Chinedu Onyeagoro out of King Drew Medical Magnet. Onyeagoro ranks as the No. 245 player in the country, No. 26 EDGE, and as the No. 24 player in the state of California. He holds nine offers from programs like Arizona, Duke, UNLV, and Arizona State.

This past season he recorded over 100 tackles, 30 tackles for a loss, 21 sacks, two forced fumbles, and two interceptions.

As it stands right now, Stanford holds three commitments in their 2025 class already, and are looking to continue to ascend up the rankings.
