Texas A&M Men's Basketball SEC Opponents Revealed, Schedule Dates TBD

The Texas A&M Aggies are looking to build off last year's 15-3 regular-season conference record and return to the SEC and NCAA Tournaments.

The Texas A&M Aggies men's basketball program learned the locations of their 18 Southeastern Conference matchups Monday, according to a release.

The Aggies, along with every other conference foe, will play each of their 13 SEC opponents at least once. Texas A&M will play four opponents at home only, four only on the road and five opponents at both home and on the road to make up the 18-game SEC schedule.

At Reed Arena, the Aggies will play Florida, Kentucky, Mississippi State and South Carolina, traveling for road matchups against Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and Vanderbilt.

The five teams Texas A&M will have both a home and road game against are Arkansas, LSU, Ole Miss, Missouri and Tennessee.

The dates, times and TV channels of the Aggies' conference games will be announced at a later date.

Texas A&M will open its season Nov. 6 against Texas A&M-Commerce, according to GigEm247, traveling to the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, OH. Nov. 10 where it will start the front half of a home-and-home series against Ohio State.

It was previously announced that Texas A&M will compete in the ESPN Events Invitational Nov. 23-26. The opponents and tip-off times are yet to be determined, but other participants in the field are Boise State, Butler, Florida Atlantic, Iowa State, Penn State, VCU and Virginia Tech.

The Aggies will complete home-and-home series against Memphis on Dec. 10 and SMU at a date that has yet to be decided. A&M will the play a home game against Houston Christian Dec. 22, according to GigEm247.
