Texas A&M Aggies men's basketball will travel to John Paul Jones Arena to play Virginia in the first-ever ACC/SEC Challenge on Nov. 29 at 6:15 p.m. CT, according to a release.

The ACC's teams used to play an annual game against a Big Ten opponent, but with the latter cutting ties with ESPN in a new media rights deal, the annual non-conference meetings were played for the final time last year.

The Aggies' 2023-24 conference opponents were announced earlier in the week, as they will play Florida, Kentucky, Mississippi State and South Carolina at home and Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and Vanderbilt on the road.

Texas A&M will have both a home and road game against Arkansas, LSU, Ole Miss, Missouri and Tennessee.

Texas A&M will open its season on Nov. 6 against Texas A&M-Commerce, according to GigEm247, traveling to the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, OH. Nov. 10 where it will start the front half of a home-and-home series against Ohio State.

The Aggies will compete in the ESPN Events Invitational Nov. 23-26. The opponents and tip-off times are yet to be determined, but other participants in the field are Boise State, Butler, Florida Atlantic, Iowa State, Penn State, VCU and Virginia Tech.

Texas A&M will complete the home-and-home series against Memphis on Dec. 10 and SMU at a date that has yet to be decided. The Aggies will play a home game against Houston Christian on Dec. 22, according to GigEm247.
