Aggies Crack Top 10 In On3 2024 Recruiting Rankings

The Texas A&M Aggies have been on the forefront of recruiting for years now and are building another mammoth class in 2024.

A quarterback on the rise, a surprising commitment steal and a pair of dominant defensive linemen are the headlines in what is turning out to be yet another impressive Texas A&M Aggies recruiting class.

After the Elite 11 Finals and Overtime OT7 Finals, On3 updated its player and, in turn, team rankings and the Aggies jumped up eight spots from their previous ranking to No. 7 in the country, trailing Georgia, Ohio State, Florida, Alabama, Michigan and USC, respectively. This comes in large part due to On3 propelling quarterback Miles O'Neill to a four-star prospect and the No. 6 overall signal-caller in the class of 2024, despite his highest positional ranking on any of the other three recruiting services being 33rd.

The Aggies pulled off a July 4 shocker when they landed five-star wide receiver Cam Coleman who is now the No. 6 overall player and the No. 2 pass-catcher in the 2024 cycle, according to On3. Coleman had a 93.4 percent chance to join the Auburn Tigers, whereas he had just a 2.1 percent shot to head to College Station, according to On3's Recruiting Prediction Machine.

No. 2 offensive tackle Weston Davis and the Nos. 13 and 15 defensive linemen in Gabriel Reliford and Dealyn Evans round out the top five of Texas A&M's 2024 class, but it still has a shot to add on before the cycle is up.

The Aggies lead the recruitment for No. 2 athlete Terry Bussey and No. 4 interior offensive lineman Blake Ivy, according to On3's Recruiting Prediction Machine, but still have chances to land five-star defensive lineman Dominick McKinley and cornerback Kobe Black.
