Big 12: 25 Players Taken in 2023 MLB Draft

After a College World Series appearance, the TCU Horned Frogs saw seven of its players get drafted which led the Big 12 Conference.

This past weekend, 25 Big 12 baseball players saw their dreams become a reality when they got the call to the next level. In baseball, each player has the choice to return to school or head to the pros. Returning to school could bolster your draft stock for next year, but it could also end up being their only chance at the pros. Regardless of where they're picked, it's an uphill battle for every draftee. It takes several years in the minor leagues of proving yourself.

The TCU Horned Frogs led the Conference with seven selections after winning the Big 12 championship and a Final Four appearance in the Men's College World Series. Oklahoma State and Texas each had six selections.
