Get Up, It's Gameday: vs. Georgia

The Tennessee Volunteers (7-3, 3-3) prepare to host the Georgia Bulldogs (10, 7-0) in a classic SEC East affair this afternoon.
In this story:

Tennessee welcomes its toughest test into Neyland Stadium this afternoon. The No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs are undefeated and primed for another run to the SEC Championship Game. They have already clinched the SEC East title and are two games away from their third consecutive perfect regular season.

The No. 21 Vols have a lot to play for. They've had this game circled for a long time and understand its ramifications. Head coach Josh Heupel discussed how the team is trying to treat this just like any other game in their preparation, but the added stakes are notable. The national audience will be tuned in, there will be countless blue-chip prospects attending, and Tennessee is still fighting for a New Year's 6 Bowl berth.

There won't be an easy path to victory for Tennessee. Georgia's offense and defense are playing some of the best complementary football of their recent run, and Georgia quarterback Carson Beck is among the top passers in the conference. It should be a fun one in Knoxville, and the potential effects of a win would be staggering.
