Joe Milton III Accepts Reese's Senior Bowl Invitation
Tennessee quarterback Joe Milton III has still yet to announce whether he will play in the Citrus Bowl against Iowa on New Year's Day, but it would be his last remaining game of eligibility in college. Milton will head on to the NFL Draft this offseason, a process that should be very interesting for him. He's already got one destination locked in for his draft journey: Mobile, Alabama.
Milton is the second consecutive quarterback to accept an invitation to the Reese's Senior Bowl under head coach Josh Heupel at Tennessee - previous starting quarterback Hendon Hooker attended and went through interviews with teams even though he wasn't medically cleared to participate in on-field activities.
The offseason is almost underway for Tennessee football. The Vols have concluded the regular season and are now focusing on roster construction for the 2023 season. Volunteer Country has fans covered with all the latest portal entries and NFL Draft declarations. The portal window is from December 4 until January 2. If players don't transfer within that window, they must wait until May following spring practice to enter the transfer portal.
