Tennessee HC Josh Heupel Appearing On SEC Nation Ahead of Media Day
Football season is just around the corner. SEC Media Days will take all the college football headlines this week, with some head coaches having already formally spoken to the media on Monday. Head coach Josh Heupel of Tennessee will not do so until the last day on Thursday, but he will still have his chance to speak on Tuesday.
Heupel will join the crew of SEC Nation on Tuesday live from Nashville, the host city of SEC Media Days. According to Tennessee, Heupel will be on air at 7:00 p.m. Eastern, live on the corner of Broadway and Fourth Avenue. It will be broadcast on SEC Network and ESPN2. Heupel is expected at the show's beginning, which will last an hour.
As for the actual media day appearance, Heupel will speak at 1:00 p.m. Eastern on Thursday. Other speakers for the Vols will be quarterback Joe Milton III, defensive lineman Omari Thomas and tight end Jacob Warren. This is the first time that SEC Media Days will be held in the Volunteer state. In just a few short weeks, these Vols will return to Nashville to let their playing do the talking when they face off against Virginia. Labor Day weekend may seem like a ways away, but it will be here before we know it.
