Tennessee is set to play their January finale tonight against the South Carolina Gamecocks after what seemed to be a lopsided series as of late, as the Volunteers are 10-1 in their last 11 matchups.

Last year's matchups ended in a one-sided showcase in which the Volunteers walked away with 40+ point differential wins in both games. The Gamecocks look to continue a three-game winning streak, including a ranked win over the talented Kentucky Wildcats. The Gamecocks hold a record of 17-3 and have been unranked until now. The Volunteers have been on a roll as of late, being on the victorious side of the matchup in their last four matchups, including a dominant win over the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Tennessee looks to slingshot into the weekend as they have a tough matchup against Kentucky following tonight's game. Tennessee is led by Dalton Knecht, who has been on a rampage as of late, having put together three 30-plus-point games in his last five outings. South Carolina has been led by the junior guard Meechie Johnson, who has also been on an impressive slate as of late, averaging around 15.2 points per game and being a much-needed leader.
