Bryce Jenkins Recaps Tennessee Visit and Love From Coaching Staff

2025 four-star defensive lineman Bryce Jenkins (Washington, D.C.) recently visited the Tennessee Volunteers and caught up with Volunteer Country about his stay.
In this story:

Tennessee hosted many visitors on the weekend of February 3rd. One of the names to be on that list was Friendship Collegiate Academy defensive lineman Bryce Jenkins. The 6-5, 315-pounder ranks as the No. 212 player in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports' Composite Rankings. He spoke with Volunteer Country to recap his visit.

"The visit was like no other; it was very nice. I like the coaching staff, and they made me feel at home." Jenkins also dove into his coaching staff experience. "I was around Coach Chop [Levorn Harbin] and Coach G [Rodney Garner]. It went very well. I got a chance to see the campus with them and get a feel for it. I just like the staff all around. Like I said, they made me feel at home, and I know schools are supposed to do that, but it was different at Tennessee."

He talked more about the uniqueness of the Tennessee staff and program. "What stood out to me was how the coaches developed their players. They don't just care about football; they care about you as a person and a young man. I feel like I fit in because I am a dog, and Tennessee breeds dogs at all positions on the field."

He is an uncommitted prospect, but he did talk about where Tennessee stands in his recruitment. "Tennessee has my interest a lot, but I am still open. I feel like Tennessee has a special spot, and I definitely plan on coming back to Rocky Top for an official visit!"
