Tennessee Assistant Given National Recruiting Recognition

Tennessee Volunteers senior defensive analyst Levorn Harbin received recognition from 247Sports for being instrumental in a successful 2024 signing class for the Vols.

With traditional signing day now passed, the 2024 recruiting cycle has officially concluded. Tennessee finished with the No. 12 signing class in America, according to the 247Sports' Overall Rankings. It's their second consecutive top-12 recruiting class under head coach Josh Heupel as he continues to raise the standard at the University of Tennessee.

He gets plenty of help from his coaching staff, which goes beyond position coaches. 247Sports's Steve Wiltfong reviewed the top recruiting aces for each top-25 signing class and pointed out Tennessee defensive analyst Levorn Harbin for his efforts.

"There isn’t much better in the SEC than Tennessee’s Levorn Harbin, who was instrumental in the Vols No. 13 class. 247Sports No. 1 edge Jordan Ross was a big one he was involved in. Max Thurmond is huge for the Vols on the offensive side of the ball." 247Sports's Steve Wiltfong on Tennessee's recruiting ace

Ross was the highest-rated prospect that Tennessee signed in the 2024 class and is the top defender to join the Vols under Heupel. He should be a nice piece off the edge as he develops under defensive line coach Rodney Garner - Ross brings plenty of tools and athleticism to the table, and the sky is the limit. Harbin deserves a lot of credit for helping Tennessee secure one of the top prospects in America.
