Cole Harrison Commits To Tennessee
Cole Harrison is a 6’6, 220-pound class of 2024 tight end. He is from Junipero Serra High School in San Mateo, California. He committed to the Volunteers over Washington State. He held offers from Tennessee, Washington State, Houston, Pittsburgh, San Diego State, and more before ultimately choosing Tennessee to be his future school.
Tennessee now has a tight end room that includes Holden Staes, Ethan Davis, Emmanuel Okoye, and Cole Harrison moving forward. During his senior season in high school, he had 32 catches for 601 yards and eight touchdowns, all while leading his team to an undefeated season up until their loss in the state championship game. He moves fairly well, especially for his size.
He finds ways to get open and can track the ball well. He can definitely elevate vertically to locate a ball and bring it in if needed, as he has SEC-ready height. You might see this coaching staff attempt to add a bit to his weight, but it shouldn’t be anything unusual. He will mesh very well in the tight end room, as Holden Staes will likely lead the charge for the three freshmen behind him. His key strength is definitely his ability to get open, even across the middle. It looks as if linebackers have an issue attempting to guard the 6’6 tight end across the middle, and that is something to focus on moving forward.
