George MacIntyre Details Recent Commitment To Tennessee
Tennessee recently landed the top target on their board, Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre. MacIntyre is a 6-6, 182-pound quarterback from Brentwood Academy in Nashville, Tennessee. He recently committed to Tennessee over Alabama and LSU. He ranks as the No. 3 quarterback in the nation and brings tons of talent. He recently took the time to speak with Volunteer Country and detailed his commitment.
"A combination of Coach [Josh] Heupel, the fanbase, and being able to represent my home state in college led me to commit to Tennessee," the talented in-state prospect states. He was also asked what he could bring to a program like Tennessee, and MacIntyre responded, "Someone who will give their all every day. That's what you can expect from me and what you can expect me to bring to the table."
Something had to be a key factor in a five-star wanting to join a program. When asked what separated Tennessee from the other choices on the board, the talented commit responded, "Just the family feel of the whole staff and community."
A big part of MacIntyre's recruitment is the ability to recruit other players. When asked who he would be targeting, the talented five-star responded, "National guys like David Sanders Jr., Jaime Ffrech, Josh Petty, and Marcus Harris. They are all game-changers. There is also a ton of in-state talent, including Chauncey Gooden, Cameron Sparks, Radarious Jackson, and Jaylan Morgan. The state will be crucial." In his closing statement, MacIntyre stated, "It means a lot to be able to represent my home state; there is no place I'd rather be."
