2024 five-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton released some unexpected news earlier on Monday. He announced that he would announce his college commitment on Thursday, December 7th.

Seaton is a five-star offensive tackle from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He measured in at around 6-5 and 287 pounds, according to 247Sports. He is the top-rated player left on the board for the 2024 class and is at the top of the big board for many teams, including Alabama, Ohio State, and Tennessee. It looks as if he is down to Ohio State, Maryland, Tennessee, Alabama, Oregon, and Florida. He has taken multiple visits to Tennessee and the other schools listed as he has been narrowing down his schools and closing in on a decision.

Tennessee currently ranks as the No. 12 class in 2024 with two five-stars, including Mike Matthews, a wide receiver from Parkview High School, and Jordan Ross, an edge from Vestavia Hills High School. Multiple people from this class have been strongly recruiting the five-star tackle, including Boo Carter, who has been an extreme help to this recruiting class as he has made pitches to multiple players, such as Seaton. As the clock winds down, it is uncertain which team is currently out front, but Tennessee is 100% a factor in this recruitment. Seaton told Volunteer Country, "Last night was amazing, from the fans to the players! It's going to take a lot for other schools to top this visit," after a visit he had in late September.

Time is running out for the 2024 class, and Seaton is at the top of the list of uncommitted players. It would be a huge pickup for any of these teams if they could add this talented prospect. Only time will tell, as on Thursday, Seaton will finalize his commitment.
