Justin Baker Commits To Tennessee, Becomes Vols 1st 2025 Offensive Commit
Tennessee got great news on Wednesday evening, as 2025 running back Justin Baker committed to the Vols. Baker has been one of their top targets in the cycle, and the Buford High School standout made things official. He's been a part of a crowded rotation in high school, but many think he's one of the more underrated backs in the southeast.
The state of Georgia has been very good to the Vols in recent years. They've landed several major contributors on their current roster from the Peach State, and in 2025, all three of their commits play their high school football in Georgia. The Vols also went to Milton High School to land a pair of corners, Shamar Arnoux and Dylan Lewis.
Baker had attention from Georgia, Michigan, South Carolina, and Penn State but ultimately felt that Tennessee offered him the best fit. Running backs coach Jerry Mack gets his first target of the class, continuing an excellent year for him as a coach and on the recruiting trail. The running back room is really strong on Rocky Top right now, and they just got another strong addition.
