Four-Star ATH Kamron Mikell Schedules Official Visit

2024 four-star athlete Kamron Mikell has scheduled an official visit with the Tennessee Volunteers.
In this story:

Many recruits are scheduling official visits during this time of year. The Tennessee Volunteers have a concentration of blue-chip recruits coming on weekends during the summer, but a few have opted to take their official visits during the season. Four-star athlete Kamron Mikell is one of them; Mikell has scheduled five official visits, with two of them in the fall for game days.

Mikell will travel from Statesboro, Georgia, to the University of Tennessee on November 18 for Tennessee's game against the Georgia Bulldogs. The Georgia native is strongly considering the red and black and is also high on the Volunteers. Seeing the two sides clash in one of the most anticipated games of the regular season will allow Mikell to gather information on both. After all, Georgia is the toughest game on Tennessee's schedule, and Tennessee is the toughest game on Georgia's schedule. Mikell likely won't be alone on that trip, as dozens of blue-chip recruits will be in Knoxville that weekend. However, no one else has set a visit date that far ahead yet.

He's currently on campus for an unofficial visit. Tennessee is hosting its "865 Live" event this Memorial Day weekend, hosting many high-major prospects. This will be Mikell's first look at the Vols in-person, and the coaching staff must make an impression before Mikell embarks on the rest of his summer trips. He projects as a corner at the college level, and most programs are recruiting him as such.
