Tennessee Lands Joakim Dodson, Still Have Premium WR Targets Left

The Tennessee Volunteers landed 2025 three-star wide receiver Joakim Dodson (Collierville, Tenn.) and still have several targets left on the board.
In this story:

Collierville High School wide receiver Joakim Dodson committed to the Vols on Monday, becoming their first wide receiver commit in the 2025 class. Dodson ranks as the No. 546 prospect in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports' Composite Rankings, and caught 49 passes for 839 yards and seven touchdowns.

Tennessee now has the No. 10 recruiting class in the 2025 cycle, according to 247Sports. While adding Dodson is a strong start to this receiver class, Tennessee will likely take three to four wide receivers in this class. They have several top targets left on the board and will look to add more pass catchers to the arsenal of Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre.

Cameron Sparks

Since eighth grade, Baylor School wide receiver Cameron Sparks has been interested in Tennessee. He's made numerous trips to Knoxville and has a close relationship with the staff. A few days ago, Sparks included the Vols in his top six schools, alongside Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, and Michigan. Depending on which program we're discussing, Sparks has been pitched on playing offense and defense in college, but Tennessee profiles him as a wide receiver. The interest between the two sides is apparent, and Tennessee seems to be the No. 1 contender in this recruitment.

Caleb Cunningham

Choctaw County wide receiver Caleb Cunningham ranks as the No. 11 prospect in America and is being recruited by numerous top programs. Mississippi State is setting the tone in this recruitment - most of their coaching staff visited Cunningham for a basketball game last week. Florida State, Ole Miss, and Tennessee are also competing here, and the Vols will get Cunningham on campus in the spring.

Radarious Jackson

Sheffield High School wide receiver Radarious Jackson isn't ranked on three of the four major recruiting services. Tennessee identified him early in the process and invested much effort into this recruitment. He tallied 1,978 all-purpose yards and 25 touchdowns during his junior season and put some very impressive things on tape. I'll be interested to see how this recruitment progresses after an impressive past 12 months.

Other Names on the Board: Jaime Ffrench, Marcus Harris, Travis Smith Jr., Thomas Blackshear
